Established in April 1991 in downtown Commerce, Georgia, Boots Etc. grew from a 500 square foot shop in a house with one employee to a 5,000 square foot building off Interstate 85 and Highway 441, also known as Banks Crossing. An additional 1,000 square feet was added in February of 1992 to meet customer needs. Within three years of opening the store, we became the single largest Tony Lama dealer in the Southeast. The store expanded once again in 1997 from 6,000 square feet to 14,000 square feet, allowing us to continue to be the single largest Tony Lama dealer in the Southeast and to continue to meet our customers’ needs.
Boots Etc. has won several awards for top boot sales over the years. Companies we’ve done business with over the years presented us with these awards. Many of the awards include 1995 Superb Sales from Tony Lama and M&F Western #1 Single Store Retailer in South Carolina and Georgia for 2005.
At Boots Etc., we take pride in working towards giving back to our community. We frequently donate to charities and contribute to families in need during the Christmas season. We have also supported Saint Jude’s children’s cancer research, March of Dimes and Toys for Tots throughout the years. We sponsor local high school horse shows and rodeos, including the Great Southland Stampede Rodeo.
